NOTICE
OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Cochise County Board of Adjustment, District
3, hereby gives notice a public hearing will be held at 6:00 p.m., on Tuesday, October
13, 2009 at the J.P. Courtroom in the
Docket BA3-09-10: The Applicant requests a Variance from Section 1908.01.A.3
of the Cochise County Zoning Regulations which requires that the maximum height
of ground-mounted (free standing), on-site identification signs shall be no
higher than eight (8) feet above ground level. The Applicant seeks to install a
free-standing, internally-illuminated identification sign that is sixteen (16)
feet tall to be located next to their driveway along Highway 82 near Whetstone.
The subject parcel (Parcel
No. 106-06-001C) is located at 567 W. Highway 82 in Whetstone, AZ. It is further described as being situated in
Section 13 of Township 20, Range 19
of the G&SRB&M, in
