Public Notice

The general public is hereby notified that the Cochise County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on January 5, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. to adopt an Animal Control Ordinance for the purpose of protecting the public health, safety, convenience, and general welfare of the citizens of Cochise County by regulating dogs, cats, and other domesticated animals in unincorporated areas of the county. This ordinance is enacted pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-1001 et. seq., § 11-251.47 and § 11-251.05 and will supersede the previously existing Animal Control Ordinances.

This hearing will be held at the Cochise County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, 1415 Melody Lane, Building G, Bisbee, Arizona 85603. This building is accessible by handicapped individuals.
