NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

The Cochise County Planning and Zoning Commission hereby gives notice a public hearing will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, November 18th, 2009 at the Cochise County Board of Supervisors Hearing Room, at 1415 Melody Lane, Building G, in Bisbee, Arizona, to consider the following:

 

Docket SU-09-17,Tripp-Morales; Yaqui Electric: The Applicant has requested a Special Use Permit for two abutting RU-4 zoning districts (Rural; minimum lot size 4 acres) for vehicle storage and business office activities related to the operation of 'Yaqui Electric', pursuant to Sections 607.13 (contract construction services) and 607.26 (personal and professional services), respectively. A Special Use Permit has been requested with the intent of legitimizing the vehicle storage and office activities related to the existing commercial use.

 

Also, the Applicant seeks a Special Use Permit to allow retail sales of hay to individual customers and to store hay on the premises for those customers, as well as to allow outdoor storage of vehicles related to those uses, per Sections 607.15 (Manufacturing, wholesaling, warehousing, distribution, or storage of agriculture-related products) and 607.22 (Retail sales, rentals, or accessory storage of materials, merchandise, supplies and equipment) of the County Zoning Regulations, respectively. 

 

The subject parcels (tax parcel id# 107-15-031C; 031D) are located at 8435 and 8483 E. Madera Dr., respectively in Hereford (approximately ½-mile north of E. Ramsey Rd.) They are further described as being situated in Township 22S, Range 21E, Section 33 of the G&SRB&M, in Cochise County, Arizona.   Applicant: Stephanie Tripp-Morales.

If the above docket has not been heard by the Planning and Zoning Commission by 8 p.m. at the November 18th meeting, the public hearing regarding this proposed Special Use may be continued to a later date at the Chair’s discretion.
